SMS Terms

Effective 1 October 2026

These terms cover the text messages sent through Conker. Conker sends messages on behalf of the local business you contacted, using a number that belongs to that business.

Why you received a message. You called or messaged a business, and nobody was able to pick up. Conker sends an immediate reply on that business’s behalf so your enquiry is not lost. Or a business you have dealt with is texting you about a job it is quoting, booking, doing or has done for you. You are not being added to a marketing list.

The programme

The Conker messaging programme is a customer care programme. Its purpose is to answer an enquiry you started, to book the work if you want it, and to keep you informed about work the business is quoting, doing or has done for you. Messages let you know your call or message was received, ask what you need, confirm a time, confirm the appointment, follow up a quote the business sent you, or carry a short note from the business about your job. We do not send promotional or advertising messages under this programme.

How you consent

Consent to receive text messages is never required to buy anything, to get a quote, or to use the service.

Message frequency

Message frequency varies and depends on your conversation. A typical enquiry is one to five messages. You will not receive recurring messages once your enquiry is finished.

Cost

Message and data rates may apply. Conker and the business do not charge you for these messages. Your mobile carrier may.

How to stop

Reply STOP to any message at any time. You will get one confirmation and then no further messages from that number. You can also reply END, CANCEL, UNSUBSCRIBE, QUIT, or STOPALL.

You’re unsubscribed from Conker messages and won’t get any more. Reply START to opt back in.

How to get help

Reply HELP to any message, email hello@conker.ca, or call +1 778 907 1640.

Conker support: hello@conker.ca or +1 778 907 1640. Msg & data rates may apply. Reply STOP to unsubscribe.

Carriers and delivery

Supported carriers include the major Canadian and United States mobile carriers. Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages. Delivery is not guaranteed, and you should not use text messages for emergencies.

Your privacy

Mobile phone numbers and SMS consent are never sold, rented, or shared with third parties for marketing purposes. We share your number only with the technical providers needed to deliver the message. Full detail is in our Privacy Policy.

Changes

If we change these terms we will update the effective date above.
